This was created for an Italian graphic designer, who came to live and work in London to improve her English. She loved the concept of my Crossed Wires range, given the miscommunications that she experienced during her time in England. She provided me with a number of linguistic mistakes and phrases, that were all essentially inside jokes. I turned the twiddly bit of this inking into those words.

This inking hangs in my home in Milan. My time in England seems like a lifetime ago in comparison to my world now, where I am recently married and a new mother. It is a beautiful reminder of another really fun chapter in my life. We receive so many complements about the picture but it is even more special to us because of the hidden messages within it.
